King was picked up as a stray in the city of Syracuse and weighs around 76 pounds. At first he had other things to do, but after getting comfortable with people he's turned into a big cuddle bug who will sit on your feet for head scratches. King is up for absolutely any kind of play: fetch, tug, go find it. He'll do it all! How is he for treats? Well volunteers have said he does little "hippo hops" for them because he's so excited, but he also remembers to take them nicely.
