Hello world, my name is Gilbert. I am a sweet, gentle soul needing a family who will be patient with me as I learn to navigate this big, beautiful world of ours. Loud noises are a bit unnerving for me and I don't know exactly what to make of them. I really am trying to be a big, strong, confident kitty and would love to find a family who will help me achieve my true potential. My foster mom thinks it would be best if I went to a home with older children who will understand my situation or to a home without children. Another cat would be good as long as they are the helpful type and will offer me friendship and understanding. We don't all start out in the world ready to conquer, but, given opportunity, we can make a difference in the lives of others.
