Sweet Melody came to us in very bad shape. At just 8 weeks old she was a victim of fly strike. Fly strike is an infestation of maggots which can produce a toxicity in the bloodstream leading to death. Poor Melody's face was covered in fly strike and she had a very swollen eye. I have not posted pictures yet as we are waiting for the fur to grow back on her forehead. Despite having been a feral kitten prior to her rescue, Melody loves to snuggle and cuddle with you. Shes still shy in new and intimidating situations but once she feels safe she's ready for snuggles. She is spayed and vaccinated and waiting for her furever home and family.
