About Foxie
Foxie is a young special needs cat with a huge personality. Despite nerve damage from being trapped in a fence, she’s always purring and greets people with affection. She moves best on carpet, where she can get traction, and she’s steadily growing stronger as she exercises her back legs. Litter box arrangements have been adjusted for her, since nerve issues affect her ability to squat and always reach the box for urination. Foxie handles passing stool fine and keeps a lively spirit despite her obstacles. The right rear leg wobbles a bit with a tremor, but hope remains for more improvement as she matures and gets stronger. After her spay surgery, strict rules couldn’t slow her down—she’s eager to climb, run, jump, and play with her feline friends. She thrives on attention, bolts around her room, and would shine in a home ready for a bright, determined companion.
