Sepia
AvailableSepia is a senior domestic short hair currently in Plano, TX. She is medium-sized, spayed, house trained, and has special needs due to her FIV+ status, which simply means she may need additional vet care and attention to her immune health. Sepia gets along well with other cats and has adapted beautifully to indoor life after starting out as a feral. She thrives on companionship and affection.
About Sepia
Sepia first appeared in her foster mom’s yard alongside a couple of feline companions. Unsure where she’d come from, it soon became obvious these three had no intention of leaving their newfound safe haven. At first, Sepia kept her distance—resigned to the life of a feral, just coming by for food and shelter. Over time, she warmed up, following her foster mom and seeking more attention than dinner, revealing a soft and affectionate side. When a wound landed her indoors for proper care, Sepia took the adjustment in stride. Now she relishes affection and comes running for pets, though she’s still not keen on being picked up by most people. Her close bond with her little brother, Sebastian, is unbreakable—they need to be adopted as a pair, as he relies on her for comfort. Sepia has tested FIV+, but that hasn’t slowed her down or caused her any health issues in foster care. FIV mainly means a slightly weaker immune system and a little extra vigilance; it rarely spreads among friendly cats like Sepia, especially since deep bites are the primary transmission route, which isn’t an issue here. Overall, Sepia is a loving cat ready for a stable, caring household, especially one that will keep her and Sebastian together. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
