About Mousie
Mousie is a gentle, shy soul who was rescued from life in a feral colony after being abandoned. Heās completely non-aggressiveānever hisses, scratches, or bites. Mousie is currently living with Betty Boop, his bonded companion, and these two need to be adopted together. Both are about a year old and would do best in a quiet, indoor-only home where they can feel safe away from the dangers outside. Mousie gets along well with other cats, especially with Betty Boop, who is a tuxedo female and just as sweet. You wonāt have to worry about vettingāheās already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, FeLV tested, and flea-treated. Questions about Mousie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Domestic short hair cats like Mousie are adaptable and do well in most home environments, but they tend to thrive in quiet, indoor spaces, especially given Mousie's shy nature.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Mousie and other domestic short hair cats are quite comfortable being indoor-only cats. Access to windows or safe indoor spaces for play is usually sufficient.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Domestic short hairs are often tolerant with children, but since Mousie is shy, a home with older, gentle children or adults might be best.
