He’s had a rough go—after waiting two years, he finally found a home only to be returned within a weekend because he didn’t settle in quickly. Farley needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands that it will take time for him to trust and relax in a new environment. He is a true cat’s cat—very friendly with other felines and likely to thrive with a gentle kitty companion. High perches are a must, as Farley loves to observe his surroundings from above, and he never passes up a sunny spot in the window. With time, he’ll transform into a committed lap cat or at least want to curl up close enough for a reassuring pet. He’s playful when the mood strikes, especially with wand toys, and his favorite reward is a Churu treat—he can even pick out the sound of the jar opening. A quiet home with another cat (though he’d also be fine solo) and plenty of soft beds, Churu snacks, and a sturdy cat tree would make Farley happiest.
