Roo was trapped in a colony with his feral mom. He was frightened of people but also very curious about them, and his foster mom thought he deserved a chance at being a house kitty. The family looking to adopt Roo will need to have patience with him; at first he is nervous around new people and will hide until he feels safe. When he is comfortable with you, he will start laying next to or on you. When he wants you to pet him, he will reach out his paw & tap you on the hand. He loves to play and will want you to play with him. He likes his belly rubbed too. He would do best in a quiet home with no children. Roo loves being around other cats, so a household that already has a young, playful cat would be a good fit for him. Also, if you looking to adopt 2 cats, he has been fostered with Penny, a 2-year-old female black/white tuxedo, and they would love to be adopted together! Roo was born in June 2023.
