With the help of a compassionate friend and committed staff, this handsome buff and white Domestic Short Hair slowly learned that people were not only safe, but could also be the source of comfort and care he needed. Initially defensive and scared, Gluapo transformed into a free-roaming kitty in the staff area, where he delights in being served his meals atop the condos and engaging with his favorite humans from specially chosen perches. These days, Guapo is braver than everāadventuring down to the window sill for affectionate pets and, more recently, even leaving his safe room to seek out company. He will let you know when he wants attention, then dash back to his comfort zone, hoping youāll follow. Guapoās dream home is a calm and quiet space with an experienced, patient cat owner who can let him build confidence at his own pace. He would likely enjoy sharing his new home with another mellow cat, as he loves to observe fellow felines.
