Moon
AvailableMoon is a young, neutered male black domestic long hair with a medium build, currently in Buford, GA. He is house trained, gets along with both cats and children, and lives with a special neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, which affects his mobility but not his zest for life or overall health. Moon is looking for a home where carpets or rugs make it easier for him to move about comfortably.
About Moon
Moon is a black domestic long hair from Buford, GA with a gentle soul and a soft spot for lap time. Alongside his brother Mars, Moon lives with cerebellar hypoplasia, or 'wobbly cat syndrome.' While his movement isn’t as smooth as other cats', Moon is still moderately mobile and has a knack for making his way—he just flops more than walks. He’s most content curled up in your lap where his purring really kicks in. He enjoys affection, is strongly motivated by food, and loves the usual cat antics: playing, being petted, and canned food. Moon would do well in a smaller space or an apartment with carpets or rugs to help his footing, and he rarely attempts to jump onto high surfaces. He’s able to use a litterbox independently as long as it’s got lower sides. Moon gets along great with children and other cats and is currently being introduced to dogs—he’s a touch cautious around them so far. Above all, he’s looking for someone who wants a sweet, affectionate companion who’ll absolutely choose lap time over adventure. Give this special boy a cozy spot, a little patience, and some gentle encouragement, and you’ll have a loving friend for life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
