About Dougie
Your new best friend is just one click away. Say hello to Dougie (pronounced “Doogie”), a 3-year-old Boxer/Pug mix who's as cute as his name! Dougie had a tough start in life, spending much of his time crated, but now he's finally experiencing the joys of just being a dog. He's an energetic, playful pup who adores toys—especially balls—and will proudly tote one everywhere he goes, entertaining himself for hours. Dougie's confident personality means he does best with easygoing canine buddies and is currently great friends with a gentle, playful female his size. As a proud graduate of the STAR Inmate Training Program, Dougie knows his basic commands and is eager to please. He's ready to leave his past behind and find a loving home where there’s lots of affection, plenty of laughs, and of course, lots of toys! Were you born in early February like Dougie? That makes him an Aquarius, known for being smart, fun, and wonderfully one-of-a-kind—just like him. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
