Cider is a 4 year old male Carolina Dog mix, fostered in Lakeland, Florida. His adoptive family needs to rehome him due to his high prey drive, as they have cats. He is a great companion to another dog his size. Cider is a sweet, loving playful 4 year old boy who wants to play and then come in and sleep with his head in your lap. As a previous stray and then a country dog, he has a strong prey drive triggered by small animals the size of armadillos and opossums. He is a good boy around visiting children, and company that is welcomed into the home. He knows basic commands: Out (of the room), Off (the couch, the bed), Lie Down, Come, Leave It. He is crate trained, but happier out to sleep on your couch. He is up to date on vaccinations, and neutered. Transport is available for the perfect home.
