About Zinnia
Zinnia grew up with her siblings on a quiet country road before a kind foster stepped in to help. She’s a 7-month-old Basset Hound mix and lives with lots of dogs, cats, and even horses, so she’s used to a busy pack. Zinnia gives off an easygoing, fun vibe—she loves splashing in water, sticking her face in for some bubbles, and generally being the clown of the group. At first, she might be a little shy with new people, but it passes quickly. Once she’s comfortable, Zinnia turns social and playful, hustling for affection and eager to explore. She gets along well with kids, other dogs, and cats, and doesn’t seem bothered by new animal friends. She’s not house trained yet, so be prepared for a learning curve. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and has a short, soft white and fawn coat. Zinnia is ready for all sorts of adventures—trips to the beach, long hikes, lazy days by the lake. If you want a quirky, water-loving companion, she’s waiting in Warren, RI to meet you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
