About Thyme
Thyme arrived at the sanctuary after living outside with nothing more than a cardboard box to call home. He tested positive for FELV, which gave him a one-way ticket to the special kitty room. Right away, Thyme showed he’s the kind of cat who makes a room feel peaceful—the kind who greets new faces with a head boop or a warm welcome rather than any drama. At first, he was cautious, quietly taking in new sounds and smells, but his good nature quickly came through. Now he’ll flop over at your feet for a belly rub, and you’ll rarely find him far from where the action is. He’s polite, sociable with other cats, and forgiving if someone nudges into his space; he takes it in stride or strolls away. Volunteers say he’s the “black lab in a cat suit”—affectionate, gentle, just as happy to befriend people as he is to charm every feline in the room. In his new life indoors, Thyme has settled in happily, entertaining visitors and finding friends everywhere he goes. He’s mellow, sweet, and will work hard to win more pets if you let him. Thyme is ready for someone to join his winning streak. Your new best friend is just one click away.
