Meg
AvailableMeg is a 5 year and 5 month old spayed female who is a mix of Belgian Shepherd/Malinois and German Shepherd Dog. She’s considered large and is currently in San Angelo, TX. Meg does have special needs—she lives with megaesophagus, which means her food needs to be specially prepared as a soupy blend to help her digest it safely. She is an adult dog and gets along with children. Meg is social with other dogs but does not get along with cats.
About Meg
Meg is a bundle of energy looking for an outlet. She loves to stay busy and needs a home where her sharp mind and eagerness to work will be put to good use. Playfulness is a constant for her, and she rarely seems to have an off day. Classic to her Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd roots, Meg is quick to learn and thrives with training or physical activity. She gets along well with other female dogs at the shelter and seems to navigate doggy social scenes without a hitch. However, Meg does not get along with cats, so she’ll need a feline-free household. One thing that makes her unique—she has megaesophagus, so her dry food needs to be mixed with water for each meal to keep her healthy. Meg would do best in a family committed to managing that need. If you’ve got an active home and are ready for a clever dog with special dietary requirements, Meg is waiting in San Angelo, TX. Start your journey together! Apply now.
