Tikka Masala had a rough start in life-she was originally part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program and came to her foster home in October 2024, scared of people and unsure about indoor life. With time, patience, and plenty of Churus, she has made amazing progress learning that humans can be kind and gentle. Tikka took the longest of her siblings to trust people, so she'll likely need a week or two (or more) to settle into a new home. Once she feels comfortable, though, her playful and curious personality shines through. She loves zooming around, playing with toys, and lounging nearby to keep you company. She's still skittish about being picked up or held-it scares her-but with continued patience and positive experiences, she may come around in time. Because she's particular about how she's touched, she would do best in a calm, adult home without small children. Tikka gets along wonderfully with other cats and would love a feline friend to help her feel secure. With a relaxed, understanding adopter and plenty of Churus, she's sure to keep blossoming into a confident, loving companion.
