Buck
AvailableBuck is a young, medium-sized Domestic Medium Hair cat with a sleek black coat, living in Bell Gardens, CA. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Due to his blindness, Buck is considered special needs, and he requires an adopter who can provide a patient, understanding environment tailored to his abilities.
About Buck
Buck entered rescue life as a three-month-old, found near a Starbucks, and has already weathered more than most. During his neuter surgery, he suffered a rare anesthesia reaction that cost him his vision, despite dedicated veterinary care. Since then, Buck has learned to navigate a world he can't see—with patience and an inner resilience. He remains gentle and sweet, but his new reality means he can get startled easily, so his future home should be quiet, adult-only or with older kids who respect his need for space. While Buck doesn't get along with other cats, dogs, or young children, he does have an affectionate streak, and rewards trust with rare moments of cuddly warmth. He needs someone who can offer understanding and the room to adjust as he continues adapting to being blind. If you're looking to give a deserving cat a safe and loving home where he can set his own pace, Buck is waiting. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
