Nico is a stunning 3 year old husky/shepherd mix that combines the best of both breeds. His two different eye colors are definitely an attention grabber. His owner could no longer care for him, so he is at the shelter waiting for a family to bring him into their home. Nico loves to be with humans and leans in for petting and affection. He will chase toys in the yard but is also content with sniffing and investigating his surroundings. His leash skills are excellent, and he stands quietly for harnessing. Nico's other favorite thing is earning treats, and he will gladly go through all his tricks to claim his reward! He has a lot of energy so keeping him busy and active would make him happiest. Nico can be dog selective and is not a fan of cats, so he should be the only pet in the home. Nico has the potential to be a wonderful companion for an active family with older children that would keep this handsome boy engaged and busy and understands the energy level of both breeds.
