About Finn
Finn is a big, striking mix of Rottweiler and Shepherd who ended up at the shelter when his former owner could no longer care for him. At first, Finn is shy and slow to warm up, but once he feels safe, he turns into a loyal, affectionate companion with a playful streak. He’s a fan of fetch—though he sometimes skips the part where he brings the toy back—and absolutely loves back scratches, making it clear with a gentle nudge where he wants the attention. Finn’s leash manners are solid, so walks with him are a pleasure. He enjoys car rides and, according to his previous owner, was most at ease with older kids in the home. When meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, Finn does best when given time and patience. He will thrive in a calm home with older children where he can move at his own pace, and he is looking for a household without other pets. If you’re after hours of entertainment and a steady, affectionate friend, Finn could be exactly who you need. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
