About Sootsprite Special Needs
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Feline Leukemia (FeLV) is a condition that impacts a cat's immune system, making them more susceptible to illness. Despite this, many FeLV+ cats, like Sootsprite, can enjoy full, loving lives, though these may be shorter than average. FeLV can only be spread to other cats through close interaction, such as shared food bowls, grooming, or bites, and does not affect people, dogs, or other animals. Cats with FeLV are happiest in homes without other cats or living with other FeLV+ companions. With proper nutrition, consistent vet care, and attention, these cats thrive as loving companions. The adoption fee varies by age and breed type, and every adoption package includes initial veterinary care: FVRCP and Rabies vaccines (unless too small), spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, deworming, and flea/tick prevention. All cats come with a 7-day health guarantee and must remain indoor-only and not be declawed. Fun fact: With a birthday of May 14, Sootsprite is a Taurus, which is known for being loving, loyal, and strong-willed. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
