Norma Jean is an affectionate, social cat who loves being around people and welcomes belly rubs, chin scratches, and cuddles. She is curious; will greet you when you come home and wants to be wherever the action is. In her foster home she has her own special chair next to her mom’s, so she doesn’t miss any important meetings. :) She also loves bird watching and appreciates having access to windowsills and/or perches for this activity. Her previous owners left her on the street when they moved and neglected her nutrition. As a result, she has a couple more pounds to shed, but she’s doing so well on her weight loss journey now that she’s eating healthy food and indulging in lots of playtime with her foster mom. Due to the previous neglect, she is on medication to regulate her thyroid and blood pressure, but she takes it easily. We estimate that she’s about 6 years old.
