About Pelican
Pelican is nearly a year old and has a story that tugs at the heart. Rescued off the roadside with his three brothers after losing their mother, he’s learned to adapt quickly and hasn’t let a rough start dim his spirit. This domestic short hair is easy to spot with his white coat and those unique brown tabby patches — a nod to the Louisiana Brown Pelican. Pelican is vaccinated and microchipped, and he gets along well with other cats and people. Though he hasn’t spent much time with dogs, his age and social personality suggest he’d adjust just fine to cat-savvy pups. Pelican is house trained and enjoys both gentle play and affection. He’s ready for a home that will offer safety and companionship. Click apply to start the adoption process.
