AvailablePluto is a male, large Husky mix with a striking black and white coat, currently in Paramus, NJ. He’s house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Pluto is an adult with an athletic energy and a loyal streak that comes out once he trusts you.
About Pluto
Pluto arrived back at the rescue after an adoption that didn’t work out—his previous owners realized, after two and a half years, that they weren’t able to give him what he really needs. Now, Pluto’s looking for a second shot at a home that fits him for real. He’s a striking young Husky mix with boundless energy and that typical Husky drive. He needs an adopter who matches his athletic spirit and appreciates his smarts. If you’re into running, hiking, or anything outdoors, Pluto keeps up and then some. He can come off shy and a bit reserved when meeting new people or new situations, but with trust, he’s deeply loyal and forms strong bonds. He does get along with most dogs, especially those who respect his space and won’t roughhouse too hard. Pluto is not a match for homes with cats, and older kids are best. Training is still a work in progress (like many Huskies, he’s independent), so he’ll need someone committed to giving him structure and positive direction over time. If you know the breed, lead an active life, and want a smart, loyal dog, Pluto could be a great match. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
