Meet Honey! Honey is a 1 1/2 year old, 60lb female, spayed, German Shepherd. Her and her siblings were rescued from the shelter when they were a few days old. Honey was adopted, but made her way back to the rescue due to the family not having enough time for her and felt she needed more space and time than they could provide. Honey is very smart, and knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, gets along well with large and small dogs, and loves the beach and trails! In true German Shepherd fashion, Honey is loyal, and protective, and is weary of new people, a typical German Shepherd trait. Once she warms up to a person at her own pace, she is very loyal, sweet and affectionate! Honey needs to go to a home that is familiar with the breed and has the structure and time to provide her with the mental and physical stimulation she requires to be a happy healthy dog. Although she has lived in a home with small children and loves children, she would do best in a home with no small children due to her hyperactivity. Children 10+ recommended.
