About Harlow
Harlow spent years surviving on the street before finding safety and care. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was extremely shy, but over her two years with the team, she’s made real progress. Now Harlow is starting to accept gentle pets from people she trusts and is showing more of her true personality every day. She’s about 7 and a half years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. Harlow is currently at the Freeport location and is looking for a patient adopter who will let her set the pace as she adapts to a home. For zodiac fans: with a July birthday, Harlow is a Cancer—no surprise she’s sensitive and slow to open up. She qualifies for local adoptions in Long Island or the 5 boroughs of NYC.
