Emerson
AvailableEmerson is a young, neutered male Domestic Short Hair/Bombay mix with a striking black short coat. He is fully house trained and current on his vaccinations. Emerson is located in Newark, NJ, and while he might seem shy at first, he truly shines as a gentle companion for other cats.
About Emerson
Emerson started life outdoors in the cold winter of early 2024 and was completely feral when first found. With patient socialization, he's grown into a gentle cat who just needs a bit of time to feel comfortable. Emerson is now about a year old and still a little wary at first, but he enjoys lying on the bed near you and happily takes pets once he trusts you. He isn't the type to seek out your lap but likes being close by and part of the action in a quiet way. Emerson absolutely gets along with other cats, and he'd thrive as a companion to an easygoing feline friend. Black cats like Emerson are often passed over for their muted looks, but his quiet, sweet personality is worth noticing. He deserves a home where someone values a gentle spirit over showy affection.
