Growler is an energetic orange and white tabby who spends his days playing and racing around the house with his brother, Quill. While he loves to chase, wrestle, and get into harmless trouble—especially with water bowls—Growler is still reserved when it comes to people. He keeps his distance and won’t allow petting just yet, likely because of a rough start. That said, he’s curious about humans from a safe foot-level perch and becomes very interested in whatever food you might be eating. Sharing snacks with him is an effective way to build trust. Growler shines most when he’s with Quill, and it’s recommended they be adopted together to help Growler continue coming out of his shell. Evening couch time means Growler may not hop into your lap but will quietly hang out close by, watching everything.
