Meet Flaco, a sweet and chatty boy who is ready to find his forever home. This handsome cat has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves to “talk” with his people, meowing for attention or to remind you that he thinks it might be snack time. Flaco is especially fond of being up high, and you’ll often find him perched on top of cabinets or surveying the room from his favorite elevated spot. He enjoys the company of others and has shown that he bonds closely, even if the other cat is not as interested in him. With people, he is very affectionate, leaning in for pets and especially loving gentle head scratches. He thrives with routine meals, but of course appreciates the occasional treat. Flaco’s friendly nature and love of companionship make him a wonderful feline friend for the right home. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
