About Princess
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Princess, a resilient and affectionate soul whose journey has been marked by hardship but shines with hope. Princess was found wandering around Mahanoy City in a heartbreaking state: she was severely underweight, battling a terrible skin infection, and her overgrown nails made every step a struggle. Despite being covered in fleas and suffering from health issues, including a severe skin infection with pustules and, later, a positive Lyme disease diagnosis, Princess never lost her loving spirit. After a recent spay surgery, vets discovered and removed a large ovarian tumor, giving her a fresh start. Princess will need to complete her Lyme and skin treatments, but her outlook is positive. Through her challenges, Princess's gentle nature has always come through—she is wonderful with people, gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, and is both housebroken and crate trained (though she doesn't need the crate anymore!). She's a large girl at 67 pounds and has weathered her setbacks with unwavering grace. Princess is now looking for a family to show her the kindness and comfort she has always deserved. She’s ready for her forever home, where she can move on from her difficult beginnings and give all her love. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
