About Matteo N. Very

Click apply to start the adoption process. Matteo is a truly sweet and gentle-loving boy whose kindness shines through his quiet demeanor. Abandoned and found living under cars, Matteo quickly bonded with other cats in his new environment but was initially shy with people. With a little patience, he has blossomed into a more playful and social companion, bravely seeking out pets and affection from caring hands. He enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive either as a friendly addition to a home with other positive cats or as the cherished solo cat in your life. Matteo has tested positive for both FIV and FeLV, which means his immune system isn’t as robust as some other cats, but with proper care, cats like him can live healthy, happy lives without medications. FeLV is only transmissible to other cats, so he’s ideal for homes with other FeLV+ cats or those looking for a solo friend. If you have questions about feline leukemia and what it means for Matteo, the rescue is happy to provide more information and support. He is litterbox reliable, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations, making him a wonderful, loving addition to the right home. You also have the option to foster-to-adopt, giving you a chance to make sure he’s the perfect fit. Rescue support includes an application process with references, a home visit, and a two-week tryout period for adopters’ peace of mind. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
