Marietta is an absolute sweetheart! Volunteers at the adoption center describe her as shy: she likes to sit in her cubby, even with the door open, for a while to observe the other cats playing before she joins them. She likes pets and is affectionate. She has spent a long time on the street but she is now used to the luxury of being inside and living carefree again. Marietta is being fostered with several cats and she generally gets along well with everyone. All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
