Cloudberry is one of those dogs who can’t help but bounce with excitement when he sees someone he loves—he’s happiest when given a toy and asked to sit, a ritual he looks forward to every time. He forms very strong bonds, especially with women, although he’s learned to trust his current male foster. Once Cloudberry decides you’re trustworthy, you’re his person, but don’t be surprised if he tries to follow you everywhere; he’s jumped fences just to stay close. His foster’s worked hard on this and he’s improving, but he’ll need a home alert to this loyal streak. He generally gets along with other dogs, provided introductions are slow and thoughtful. Young children aren't a good fit, since Cloudberry’s still working on managing his excitement and can be a bit much for little ones.
