Meet Sailor, also known as Ebony, a 2-year-old mixed breed with a soft, sensitive spirit. She was rescued and brought in to Big Dog Ranch from Broward County Animal Care and Control along with her six puppies-all of whom have found loving homes. Now it's Sailor's turn. She was briefly adopted but returned through no fault of her own when her owner could no longer care for her. Sailor is gentle and affectionate once she feels comfortable. She walks well on a leash, knows a few basic commands, and absolutely adores quiet cuddle time. Because she's shy and a little unsure in busy environments, she'd thrive in a calm home with an owner who has had some experience with dogs and can give her the time and reassurance she needs. She enjoys the company of other dogs but would prefer a home without cats. Her quiet demeanor and moderate energy make her a great fit for an apartment or condo, especially if there's a cozy spot to relax after a walk.
