This beautiful, resilient mama was brought to us through our trusted partner, Shelby County Animal Services, who saw a spark in her eyes even in the toughest of circumstances. When Momma City was first found, she had just given birth to her litter in less-than-ideal conditions. Hungry, exhausted, and doing everything she could to keep her babies safe, she never once gave up on them. Her devotion, even in the face of hardship, is what led rescuers to give her the name "Momma City"-because she carried the strength and heart of a whole city in her. Thanks to the efforts of Shelby County, this brave little family made the journey to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, where they were welcomed with warmth, care, and open arms. Here, they've had the chance to recover, grow, and experience love in a way they never had before
