About Whiskey
Whiskey has spent his early years under the watchful care of rescue volunteers, growing into a large and gentle dog after surviving a tough start with Parvo. Born in March, he's a true Pisces—deeply intuitive, with a soft, affectionate side. While all his siblings found families, Whiskey stuck around, overlooked despite his big heart and soulful presence. Those who get to know him say he’s a couch potato at home but also tuned into the rhythms of the household. He’ll shadow you quietly, keep you company on the sofa, and surprise you with a little goofiness now and then. Volunteers rave about his intelligence and willingness to learn: he tackles agility and basic obedience training with focus, shifting from playful to studious as soon as it’s time to work. Whiskey prefers people over other animals and should be the only pet in the home. He’s not suited for households with cats, dogs, or children, but for someone who wants total devotion from a big, loving dog, he’s all in. He’s house trained, enjoys snuggles, and appreciates a calm home with an adopter who will keep up his training and help him settle in. Whiskey’s loyalty runs deep—once he trusts you, it’s for keeps.
