About Tank
Tank is one of 29 dogs rescued from a life of uncertainty in North Alabama, where they were left behind after their previous caretaker was hospitalized. At first, Tank was unsure and frightened, but never acted out—just overwhelmed by the sudden changes. Since arriving at Big Dog Ranch, he has finally found safety. The team has provided calm, nutritious care, and gentle attention. Tank is figuring out things like leash walks and that human affection can actually feel good. Every day, he grows a bit more confident, slowly discovering what it means to be cared for. Tank now has the chance to experience stability and kindness in a loving home. If you have the patience to let him keep building trust, you’ll see a resilient, sweet companion reveal himself. He does well with other dogs and could thrive in a home that will keep building on the progress he’s making. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
