About Jorgen AKA Jiariaya
Jorgen (also known as Jiraiya) is a 4-year-old shepherd mix who’s easygoing and thrives in the company of people. Rescued as a stray in the Bahamas in 2022, he spent three years happily living in a home until a move left him without enough space, bringing him back into rescue care. Jorgen is social and likes to be part of the action, whether that means following you from room to room or just hanging out nearby—especially if snacks are on the table. He’s housebroken and familiar with daily routines, making for a smoother transition to a new place. Having already lived in a household, Jorgen knows what it means to be part of a family and craves that stability again. He bonds closely with his people and prefers plenty of companionship. Jorgen gets along with dogs and kids, but not with cats. If you want a loyal, affectionate dog who just wants to be involved in your life, Jorgen is ready for a fresh start with you. By the way, he’s a Pisces—expect some gentle loyalty. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
