Hi, my name is Kona. I came from a home with my boy Rover. We are closely bonded and need to stay together, and my people pals like to refer to us as husband and wife. Sadly, my people were moving and couldn't take us with them, so they brought us to the Ranch where we would be safe. My boy is the big mush, and I'm the spunky one! My caretakers like to lovingly refer to me as "sassy," but don't worry, I'm a total sweetheart. Rover was originally born at the Ranch, but this place is new to me so I came in a little uncertain. I prefer when people are patient with me and wait for me to approach first. I also like to be given lots and lots of snacks, and I'll take any excuse to ask for treats! Food is the way to a gal's heart, after all. Once you've got a place in my heart, I'll be your best friend! I love to play with toys or snuggle up for some pets. And guess what, Rover and I are both housetrained! We learned that important skill in our old home, and are ready to learn even more with you. While I do love all my people friends, I would prefer if my Rover was the only other pet in the home since I'm very dedicated to him. But I'm looking for someone who will be dedicated to both of us, respectful of my quirks and loving to both of us. It's hard for bonded pairs to get adopted, but we are well worth the chance.
