Winston is one of the two we rescued from a horrific cruelty situation in West Port New York. He was transported to Va Beach to RightOn Teaining to decompress and learn how to be a dog again. Winston: HIs Rabies is good until December 2027. All other vaccines are utd until Dec. 2025. His estimated DOB is November 2022 which would put him just over 2 years old and this little guy weighs in at 51 lbs. He is a super energetic, highly alert, can't wait to do the next thing kinda dog. He would stay outside all day if you let him and as long as there are enough squirrels, rabbits and possums to chase around, but beware this boy can jump! so you better have a 6+ foot fence AND or be supervising him at all times while outside! Winston is searching for a family just as active as he is although his paperwork says he is a lab mix he is believed to possibly be mixed with a japanese terrier or another highly active, very independent working breed type dog. He is currently only being fed once a day to help with his housebreaking issues and although he does react to strange dogs and people that he sees out in the community he has gotten along with the few that he has been introduced to while in rehab training with proper introductions. Vocabulary He Knows Well: Sit, Crate Down, Let's Go, Settle (Still Working On) Winston needs an 8 ft fence or a home where he will be leash walked. A six ft fence is not high enough. He is a great dog but needs the right human.
