Dora
AvailableDora is a black and white, short-haired adult domestic short hair cat currently living in Palm Coast, FL. She is spayed, house trained, and her vaccinations are up to date. She is known for her smarts, a playful yet independent spirit, and appreciates a calm environment to fully relax.
About Dora
Dora showed up at a woman's home that doubled as a raccoon hangout, clearly looking for a meal and shelter. Already spayed, she was resourceful enough to blend in and survive alongside the critters. Efforts to find her previous people came up empty—no microchip, no one stepping forward. Dora proved herself a survivor, bright and wily, weaving around legs when she felt safe, trying to open cabinets, and always finding clever spots to hide when the world felt a bit too much. She took her time to settle in, but with some patience and simple eye drops for a mild allergy, Dora relaxed. Her new name fits—she explores every high ledge and secret nook, always keeping an eye on her home environment. Dora isn’t one for strangers, but she warms up to her people, seeking out pets and play on her own terms. She doesn’t go for all-over pets; she likes boundaries and asks for a gentle approach as she gets comfortable. Dora currently lives with another cat foster, and they get along, but she’d truly thrive as the only cat in a peaceful home. She’s sharp, self-assured, and has a generous dash of independence, making her a fun and rewarding companion for someone willing to respect her pace and quirks. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
