About Kimchi
Kimchi is not at the shelter, but rather cared for directly by his owner. This big, affectionate cat is well-suited for snuggling—he loves curling up with you while you read and will settle across your chest to sleep for part of the night. Weighing a solid 23 pounds, Kimchi makes his presence known in the best way: vocal and engaging, but also respectful of your space. He’s independent, easygoing, and keeps himself entertained. The main challenge has been occasional marking in a small one-bedroom apartment, and his owner believes he would thrive with more room to play or perhaps even a feline companion, though he's never lived with one yet. The only known health issue is a past UTI, which will need keeping an eye on. His owner’s busy schedule means Kimchi isn’t getting the attention he deserves. Kimchi is looking for a home where someone can spend more time with him and help him get the exercise and interaction he needs. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
