About Shelly

Shelly began her journey as a timid kitten found with a group of babies near a senior center. Compared to her siblings, she hung back at first, wary and slow to trust, but time in foster care has revealed her sweetness. Now she melts into a lap, happy to soak up attention and cuddles from those she knows. She still steps cautiously around strangers and deserves a gentle start in a quiet space before showing off her full “snuggler” side. Patience pays off—Shelly blossoms under kindness and would thrive with someone who’ll let her settle on her own terms. She’s about 6 months old and has already overcome a challenge: an early positive test for feline leukemia that she’s since beaten. Shelly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative care for fleas, ticks, and parasites. She interacts well with other cats, could adapt to a calm, cat-loving dog, and would do best with older, respectful kids who understand shy cats. This girl truly deserves a soft landing and a gentle home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
