Mortimer Octavius is a 5-year-old male Carolina Dog in Bloomington, IN. He's a large dog who has been neutered, is house trained, and has his vaccinations up to date. Mortimer Octavius has special needs, so he’ll require an adopter who can give him a little extra attention and understanding as he continues to settle into home life.

About Mortimer Octavius

Mortimer Octavius started life in a tough spot, coming out of a hoarding situation that didn’t do him any favors, but in the hands of a dedicated foster mom, he’s learned a completely different way to be a dog. Morty picked up house training fast—he’ll ring a bell when it’s time to go out—and genuinely enjoys time with his people, curling up for snuggles on the couch and beside the bed at night. He’s bonded with his foster’s other dogs, adapting quickly to different play styles and consistently looking to engage them. Squeaky toys, treat balls, snuffle mats, and a rotation of healthy snacks like yogurt ice cubes, frozen berries, and veggies are his idea of a great day. He’s five years old, has made remarkable progress, is neutered, fully house trained, and up to date on vaccinations. Mortimer Octavius gets along well with other dogs but does not get along with cats. He’s looking for someone willing to keep showing him how good life can be. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
