About Ziggy
Start your journey together! Apply now. Ziggy is an affectionate, gentle sweetheart with a sharp mind who loves people and other dogs! He’s obedient, eager to please, and has truly blossomed in his foster home. Although fully grown, he is more compact and light on his feet than a typical Labrador Retriever, and his silky, easy-to-brush fur adds to his charm. Ziggy walks beautifully on leash and loves to play with friendly, active dogs, especially those who are at least 40 lbs. He’s a quick learner with a gentle, playful soul. Standing on his hind legs when excited, Ziggy is otherwise well-mannered and keeps his four paws on the floor. Happy and joyful, Ziggy enjoys attention, is motivated by treats, and sometimes "talks" when he’s excited. While he alerts to a knock at the door, he is not an excessive barker. He adores his foster sisters, finds joy in playtime, and rests peacefully during nap times with his favorite chew toys. Ziggy requires a home with an attached, private yard and at least one friendly, playful dog companion. He would enjoy an active family with kids, while still being content entertaining himself when they’re away. Ziggy is only available for adoption in the Phoenix metro area to ensure the foster-to-adopt process and home checks can be carried out locally. If you’re looking for a playful, grateful, and big-hearted companion, Ziggy is ready to make your family complete. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
