About Princeton

Princeton is back with us after a previous adoption didn’t last, and he’s ready to find the right fit this time. This extra-large, short-haired black cat was born on February 18, 2021—he's an Aquarius, so he’s got some independent quirks but also big social energy. He’s a gentle giant with a playful streak, known for his love of pets, head-butts, and following you around for attention. Princeton gives great hugs and wants to be included in everything you do, but when he’s upset, he can act out and get pretty rough. Because of this, young kids aren’t a match for him. He does best with adults who can set boundaries and offer consistent, loving structure—think "dog person" energy for this cat. He gets along with other cats and dogs after a warm-up period and will grow attached with a little time. Princeton has a special dietary need: he must eat veterinary urinary food exclusively to keep him healthy, so other cat food can’t be left out. He’s house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is even reduced, and if you adopt another cat at the same time, you’ll get a discount on both. Princeton comes with a complete care package: he's microchipped, vaccinated, and checked for FeLV/FIV. He’s looking for a home that understands big cat energy and can offer a steady, attentive routine. Every detail for a smooth adjustment matters, from the right supplies to a feline friend if possible. Click apply to start the adoption process.
