Found a forever home!
Pluto
Found a forever home!Pluto is a large, senior neutered male American Bulldog and Pit Bull Terrier mix living in Cary, NC. He is house-trained and up to date on his vaccinations. Pluto gets along with most dogs and children, though he should not live with cats. He does not have any special needs aside from the care required for an older, bigger dog.
About Pluto
Pluto is a gentle, senior American Bulldog and Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs about 70 pounds and has a calm, loving presence. Despite his age, he still enjoys life: he loves cuddles, naps, chew toys, walks, and even the occasional swim. Pluto adores people, including kids, and gets along well with most dogs. He’s reliably house-trained and knows his basic commands—he’ll sit, come, drop, or give his paw without fuss. He’s quiet around the house, rarely barking except to announce a visitor. Though he has met a cat, his interest was strong and it’s likely he’d do best in a home without cats. As an older, larger dog, Pluto’s back legs are starting to weaken, but swimming and gentle activity help keep him moving. He adapts well to routines, spends time snoozing when home alone, and is content either with canine friends or as an only dog. While crate trained, he doesn’t require crating and is trustworthy with free run of the house. He does need someone comfortable helping him with things like getting up or into the car, so an adopter experienced with senior dogs is key. Pluto was found abandoned but quickly proved himself a wonderful, steady companion, ready for a second chance in a loving home. Think you could offer him the comfort and family he deserves?
