About Maloos
Maloos, whose name means “cute” in Farsi, is a 4-year-old mini poodle and bichon mix with a remarkably resilient spirit. She weighs only 9 pounds, but her presence is much larger. Blind from an early age, Maloos still eagerly explores on walks and faces each day with confidence. She uses a special halo harness to help her move around new places safely, and would do well with a patient home willing to help her adjust at her own pace. Maloos enjoys the company of other dogs once she grows comfortable. She should be fed separately from other dogs at first as she has some resource guarding with food. Her adopter must be attentive to her needs, providing lifelong eye drops to keep her eyes healthy and giving her time to settle in. Maloos does not shed and sports an adorable underbite. She’s currently in Long Beach, CA and ready to find the right family who can appreciate her courage and gentle nature. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
