This is a special case/story! This is Flora. She came to us after Animal Control found her. Starving. Skin and bones. Covered in mats and fleas. We wasn't even sure we could save her. I opened the carrier to check her out. She came out and rubbed her head on me as to say thank you. From there, I knew I had to try. Flora went straight to the vet. She had a complete blood work up and to my shock her bloodwork came back great. Combo tested negative. We found out she only has 4 teeth and had some infection in her mouth. She was started on antibiotics for her mouth, Capstar for flea treatment, full deworming series, shaved all of her mats off, and started her on a high protein diet. She has been with us for 2 months. And even though I would love to keep her here with us, she is now ready for a home. A warm....indoor place!! Flora is 13 years old. She is extremely affectionate and loves to snuggle. She loves food and treats and a warm bed to cuddle in. We are asking for your shares for Flora. Shes very special to us and she deserves a special home. Please share to help Flora.
