She’s a treat connoisseur and a big fan of toy balls. While Ernie may come off as “spicy” at first, she’s really just cautious. She’ll hiss and scamper away when she’s unsure of your intentions, but don’t let that fool you—she doesn’t bite or scratch, even with new people. Once you earn her trust (hint: treats help!), she’s surprisingly sweet and enjoys gentle chin rubs over full-body pets. Ernie takes her time warming up, but once she feels safe, you’ll start to notice her spending more and more time nearby—watching, lounging, and slowly letting you in. If you’re patient and understanding, Ernie will reward you with her quirky, lovable personality and endless entertainment.
