About Prancer
Prancer is a 4-year-old, large Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix. He comes with a lively, playful energy and a friendly disposition. Prancer grew up with his brother Blitzen and did well with kids and other dogs in his previous home. He came to rescue after repeatedly jumping a 5-6 foot chain-link fence, a habit the rescue has successfully managed with the right setup. Here, he hasn't tried to escape again. Prancer is social, confident, and bursting with handsome retriever charm. He does best with families who can offer him activity and supervision outdoors, especially if you have fencing that can keep a large, agile dog secure. Prancer isn’t a good fit for homes with cats, but he generally gets along with dogs and enjoys the company of children. As an adult, he’s already neutered and fully vaccinated; he arrived healthy and well-cared for. Ready to add a playful, loyal friend to your home? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
